1. Do you build new in-ground swimming pools?
At this time, Anders Pool Company does not build pools. We offer aftermarket services like repair, equipment replacement, and maintenance contracts. Give us a call once the pool is in the ground. We want you to enjoy a hassle free swim season!
2. What do I do if my pool has algae growing in it?
There are several forms of algae and each is treated a little different. In most cases, a good, heavy shock treatment followed by a strong algaecide should eliminate most of the problem, but in some instances, more substantial treatment is required. We suggest that you bring us a water sample for professional analysis and recommendation. By following our step by step program, you'll be swimming in no time!
3. How do I take a sample of my water to bring in?
Make sure to use a clean container to collect the water. Empty water bottles, ziploc bags, and tupperware containers work well. Avoid containers that have had foods or liquids as this may affect the analysis. Anders Pool Company provides sample bottles also. Take the sample from about elbow depth away from any return jets or skimmers to provide the most accurate sample of the pool.
4. What if my pool pump is leaking and/or making a loud noise?
This is a very common problem. Without repair, it could lead to more substantial issues. Bring in your motor or call us and we can discuss with you the best course of action.
5. My pool seems to be leaking and I am having to add water constantly?
Evaporation rates change throughout the season depending on temperature and humidity. Give us a call and we can give you some simple tests that you can do at home to determine if you do have a leak and where that leak may be.
6. Do you replace in-ground vinyl liners?
Yes, Anders Pool Company uses Tara liners. All liner installations come with a (1) year workmanship warranty and a prorated manufacturers warranty for the material.
7. I am looking to buy a hot tub for my house, do you sell them?

8. My water seems to be out of balance when I test it myself, and the kids are complaining of itchy, burning eyes. What do I do?
Burning skin and itchy eyes can be caused by a number of things. Water balance can be a fun process. We recommend that you bring us a water sample for professional analysis. We can then recommend a treatment process that will get your pool back in beautiful and sparkling shape.
